CEDEM organized a two-day training in Milocer, 6/7th February on international and European standards and practices in the field of asylum and irregular migration management for representatives of the Border Police, Asylum Directorate and the Refugee Care Directorate.
The training covered the basics of refugee rights, universal standards for protection of migrants within the UN system, basic concept of the protection of migrants and asylum seekers within the Council of Europe system.The training was carried out in cooperation with the Dutch Council for Refugees within the project Building Capacities of Montenegrin Asylum and Illegal Migrations Management System, which is supported by the Dutch Royal Embassy in Belgrade.
