CEDEM and Civic Alliance held a two-day training on international and European standards and practices in the field of asylum and irregular migration managemet for representatives of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro, Misdemeanor Panel, lawyers, border police, Directorate for Asylum and the Administration for Refugees.
The training covers the basics of refugee rights, universal standards for protection of migrants within the UN 
system, basic concept of a single European asylum system, as well as the standards for protection of migrants and asylum seekers within the Council of Europe.
The training is carried out within the project Supporting Montenegrin Asylum and Illegal Migrations System, which is supported by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Montenegro.
