Center for Democracy and Human Rights - CEDEM, in cooperation with partners - Institute for European Affairs (Serbia), From the beginning (Kosovo), Aarhus Center (Albania) implement the project Youth can change the future to address problems and challenges in the field of intercultural dialogue and regional cooperation. The project will directly involve 20 representatives of Student Parliaments from Montenegro, Serbia, Albania and Kosovo. The overall objective is to strengthen and promote intercultural dialogue by raising awareness of the cultural and linguistic diversity of young people, thus preventing negative attitudes towards people from other countries. The purpose of the project is to create an environment that will contribute to the mutual understanding and co-operation of young people by building strong and lasting friendships and relationships with individuals from different ethnic groups in the Western Balkans regions. The main activity of the project is a 20-day exchange (5 days in each country) with a focus on learning the basics of both languages, workshops on topics relevant to intercultural dialogue, as well as getting to know the region through visits to public institutions and museums.

The project was supported by the Regional Office for Youth Cooperation - RYCO, as part of the first call for proposals.
