Centre for Democracy and Human Rights (CEDEM) and the Montenegrin Women's Lobby (MWL) are implementing the project "Let’s build sustainable anti-trafficking efforts in Montenegro!”
which aims to contribute to the strengthening of the capacity of representatives of the institutions to identify victims of trafficking, as well as improving coordination and cooperation between key stakeholders in the fight against human trafficking.
The project includes several activities, including trainings for representatives of institutions involved in the fight against human trafficking; preparation and promotion of the Report on the prevention and suppression of child begging, workshops for media professionals and focus groups for representatives of media, non-governmental organizations and institutions.
The project will include a public campaign that aimed to support Montenegro's efforts in the fight against trafficking, through consultation with the representatives of local communities, and it is planned to promote free SOS line for reporting cases of human trafficking.
The project is implemented with the support of the Canadian Embassy in Belgrade, in the period from 01. 09. 2016 to 28. 02. 2017.
The total value of the project amounts to € 12,551.00.
