The aim of this project is to respond to the refugee crisis in the region and the EU, by supporting Montenegrin institutional efforts to address contemporary migration challenges and implement long-term NATO/EU accession commitments in the field of asylum and migration management. To contribute to this objective, the project seeks to achieve the following specific objectives: 1) Strengthened civil society capacity to engage in asylum and migration reform; 2) Improved migration professionals’ knowledge on international/EU standards.
Target groups of the project are: CSOs, especially local human rights-based NGOs and NGOs dealing with ant trafficking; executive staff in Border Police, reception centers, social centers and migration offices; asylum seekers, refuges, third country nationals and Montenegrin returnees from EU countries. The project is being implemented with support of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.
The total value of the project is 20.000 $.
