Invitation to participate in a research.

Respected,

We would kindly like to call you to participate in an international survey conducted in Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia and Albania, countries that have a major problem with the departure of highly qualified experts (the so-called brain drain).

If you have been abroad for more than a year and then returned to Montenegro for more than a year, you are the right person to fill out the questionnaire in this research.

Please take a few minutes to send your contacts to Marija Cimbaljević, Coordinator for Montenegro, at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. "> This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by phone at 020 / 234-111 to be able to participate in this research.

The survey is anonymous and summary results will be available to the public. The aim of the research is to identify factors that are important for the return of highly educated citizens from abroad, in order to use their knowledge, experience and contacts abroad in the best possible way in Montenegro, for their own development and well-being, but also for the development of the community to which the states as a whole returned.

Based on the research findings, we want to influence states to develop systematic support for the return of our citizens from abroad, thereby motivating others to return to the country and to use their potential to contribute to the development of their homeland, rather than, due to lack of support, disappointed to return abroad and they remain there forever, with no desire for any cooperation with their home country.

The research is conducted by a group of NGOs from the region: Group 484 (www.grupa484.org.rs, Serbia), Center for Democracy and Human Rights (www.cedem.me, Montenegro), European Movement in Albania (www.em-al.org, Albania), Academia (www.academia.ba, BiH), Center for Policy Research and Development (www.crpm.org.mk, Macedonia).

The project is supported by the Balkan Democracy Fund (www.gmfus.org/balkantrust).

Thanks in advance for your attention and time,

Marija Cimbaljević, Project Coordinator for Montenegro
