In the period from 15 December 2012 til 15 December 2013, with the support of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade, Centre for Democracy and Human Rights (CEDEM) and Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Montenegro will conduct monitoring of criminal proceedings in order to contribute to the establishment of an effective, independent and accountable judiciary in Montenegro. Monitoring will include trials on criminal acts of corruption and organized crime, proceeded before the High Courts in Podgorica and Bijelo Polje, from the moment of bringing the bill of indictment until the adoption of the first instance decision.
